The Knight Story
I like to affectionately call this series of novels the "Knight Short Story" even though it has very obviously outgrown the title. This was initially a short piece of fiction that I found stashed away in one of my writing portfolios. By now, I don't even remember why I initially wrote that short piece. But it sounded like a great chapter to a longer novel and so I began writing this story. It has developed beyond anything I could have ever imagined when I first wrote that short piece of fiction. I actually like to think that this will be my most complete work so far because I have taken the time to map out the entire plot of the story and to fully create a fantasy world that extends beyond the requirements of my story. I may even consider writing other stories within this universe.
The story itself is about a young boy named Rowan who becomes apprenticed to a knight named Baird. He leaves behind his home and his uncle and brother in order to travel with the knight to the capitol.
